Reiki for Animals by Dee Strinsa, B.A, M.S Reiki translates as universal life energy and is an amazing energy healing method that originated in Japan. Pets that have emotional problems due to trauma should find reiki healing. Animals with behavioral issues can also benefit as reiki helps the animal relax and reduces stress. Sick and injured animals ( and people) are thought to heal more quickly when Reiki is used as a compliment. Reiki is also a kindness to use with a dying animal as it helps them to relax, releases fear and helps to end the sturggle to remain here with us. Dee is a wildlife rescuer  and rehabilitator. She has been a Reiki Master for over 22 years. Originally she became interested in Reiki due to a personal injury and found it to be so beneficial that she learned the practice and began using this method with her wildlife rescues.
